Well straight off the vortech website there are supercharger pulleys for my car in 8 rib in the 2.75, 2.95, & 3.33 (base). They also have the "Improved Traction" Renegade pulleys in 2.85, 3.00, and 3.15 sizes.
Can anyone give me their impressions (dyno data would be cool too) from going from the base kit 3.33" pulley to say something like a 2.95" pulley?
Has anyone used these "Improved Traction" ones?
Any info is appreciated...

Hey Phil, those "traction" pulleys are textured for more grip. WIKD281 on here got similar effects by bead blasting his 6 rib pulley. The idea started about 2 years ago in the NMRA when teams started to do this because of class limitations.

I got a six rib pulley that is one step down from stock. Should give you 10lbs of boost. Dont worry about the belt spipping till your at 12lbs or more. $40 if you want the pulley.

i have a 3.25" pulley on my paxton (same exact pulley as a vortech) and it's from the renegade kit so i guess it has the no slip crap. I have never had slipping problems even up to 16 lbs.

Thanks for all the information guys. I am going to probably have to upgrade my fuel pump (190) to a 255 and my injectors (24) to at least 42 to be on the safe side with my combo when I go for the smaller pulley. Then another reburn of the chip that Byron set up for me...
$40 sounds like a good deal...the only problem is that is for a six rib and I already have an eight rib setup right now that came with the kit.

Why not get 50lbs injectors since you're getting a stroked 351 under boost down the line?
As for the fuel pump... make sure its the 255 "high pressure" pump. It flows about 10lph more than the regular 255 at higher fuel pressures.

Thats right. I forgot about that. I also forgot that I have to get a calibrated MAF with those injectors too! Man-o-man...more money! Does Byron frequent this board? I have some questions or and advice on the best way to approach this. I prefer the piece by piece method, but the way this is turning out...I might have to buy everything at once....ughh!
So..the easy part is probably the 255 pump.
Then after that...the injectors, MAF, and then a reburn to get my cobra computer to deal with the bigger MAF/injectors.

Byron checks out the board from time to time, but lately he hasn't been online much because of work. He posts as "ByronRace" here. Shoot him an email at byron@racesystems.com if you need to get a hold of him.
You may want to consider selling your 190lph T-rex and going with a walbro 255lph inline pump as well.
50 lbs injectors, fuel pumps and a 2.95 pullied S trim will make for one screamer of stock cobra motor. A little race gas wouldn't hurt either
