Since sat my car has been running really bad. I wasnt doing anything to it when it happened. When it is idling and driving it shakes. When idling it makes a laud ticking noise. There is no power when i hit the gas and it sounds different then usual. It was plugged into a computer and it didnt find any trouble codes.

sounds like you need to tighten up the headers or off-road pipe you just installed [Big Grin]

two words : exhaust leak. Hope it's the header to h-pipe connections (5/8" nuts) or else the header gaskets. A scanner wouldn't pick up an exhaust leak.

nah, nothin with exhaust. I've had a leak b4, its not... A leak would make me loose a lot of power and make the whole engine shake and idle differently.

I am guessing your car is a '97 due to your screen name, so here it goes
The only reason the check engine light would flash on an OBDII car is a catalyst damaging misfire is occuring
Inspect your spark plug wires around the boots
If you can pull codes, you will find a P030x code (x= the cylinder number that is misfiring i.e. P0301 = cylinder #1 P0302 = cylinder #2 etc....)

If you can hear a "ticking" noise, one of the wires may be loose on the coil packs

Good Luck
Brian
