hi fellas,

can anybody tell me what's wrong with my car? when I start it up, sometimes the engine doesn't turn over, it just makes a buzzing noise. Is it the starter or just the solenoid that's whacked?

Assuming both ends of your battery cable's connections are clean and secure, I'd say the starter solenoid for sure. About $15 from the parts store and very easy to swap. Remember, don't tighten the nuts on the solenoid too tight. They're just copper bolts mounted to plastic. Not strong stuff!

Its your battery. If you turn the car over and it clicks but doesnt start its the battery. You can always bypass the solenoid with a remote starter than you can see if the starter itself is bad.
