Well, I will be getting my Tremec TKO next week and i have heard that i will have to grind some welds off of the crossmember???? Has anyone done this before and is it hard to do? Thanx in advance. [patriot]

Save yourself the time and just get a cross member from an AOD car.

Yes. Its pre-welded for you from the factory. If you want to grind and re-weld the cylinder end mounts of the cross member, be my guest. Its a lot easier to find a cross member from a '87 to '93 V8 Automatic Mustang instead.

You won't gain any HP from a smog pump delete. As far as the procedure goes.... basicly you run a short belt to bypass the missing pump and you plug up all the remaining lines that were related to the smog pump.

ive jack up 3 smog pumps and 3 belts (expensive belts) in the past year. i need a smog pump delete kit... [patriot]
