sup yall i hope you can help me with this discription... i hear the rattleing from my pcv vavle when i turn the car on and then when i give it throttle it gets louder. when i push down on it, it stops. so my guess was it was the grommet so iwent to ford to buy a new grommet and popped it in still the same sound,then i put silicon gasket around the outside of the vavle because i thought it was popping outside of the grommet and it still makes the sounds really loudly and but when i push down on it it stops could the pcv vavle be bad?

just change the whole valve. It's pretty cheap. Also check the hose that connects the the valve. I had a small hole in mine and it made whistling sound. I thought it wast my pcv valve.

thankz. how would i check for any holes . just look at it or?
