SVO's aren't exactly your garden variety 4 banger. Plus, I'm pretty sure an SVO gets the 8.8 anyways. [Wink]

I am pretty sure the question was whether or not an 8.8" will bolt right in place of a 7.5" on a 4 banger car.

Badazz, I think that the flanges are the same.

Yeah, I've done it.
The 8.8 bolts right in place of the 7.5. Only thing that may or may not be too long is the drive shaft.

No 4 banger Stangs came with 8.8's. A great swap is to get a 8.8 out of a Turbo Coupe thunderturd with 3.73's (auto cars) and discs and swap it in. And the driveshaft is fine, although for $150 why not put an aluminum FR shaft in it? ANd I know this cause this is the setup under my car...
