i just got in my 3.90 gears and im thinking of gettin a torque converter or long tubes for my 01 gt. i was wondering what can i do so in street trim so i can stick like glue and launch without excessive wheelspin. heres what i was thinking
1-drag suspension, dont know if its worth the money and i drive my car everyday so i dont think this is the best idea
2-Cobra R Y2k wheels which are 9.5 wide and put the widest nitto drag radials i can fit on there
3-panhard bar or torque arm, dont know much about them but heard they help
any help would be greatly appreciated

Lower control arms (lots of folks on this board like HPM Megabites), drag struts and shocks, and ET Streets on some Draglites should get u started.

Good luck...

For the street, I really don't think that LCA's will help you much. They only seem to make a differnce with sticky tires.

I'd say one of the best things to do would be to buy drag radials and just practice launching the car. Full throttle isn't always best on the street [Big Grin]

I have southside LCA's and while they hook great I would never recommend them to anyone. (torque box damage)

I have HPM megabyte's waiting to go on. I recommend those [Wink]

i wouldnt do drag struts and shocks if it was a daily driver. get some aadjustable lower and upper control arms and a set of DR's. torue arm and panhard bar arent to economical.

Go to griggsracing.com, their prices are a little steep but you get what you pay for. They acually claim to give a mustang to much grip.e-mail any one of thier tech guy's and they'll help you out.You can get the best tech support from them directly, but as far as prices go for their products, I found that "forcefedperformance.com" in Yuba City, Ca is the cheepest around. Good Luck
