OK, My car.I went to Sacramento Raceway today. Knowing my motor mounts are bad, I ran a 14.2 [patriot] so I was happy. Well anyways, got bored and decided to cruise Sunrise. Alright, so I drop second tonight on Sunrise. We go to Borders parking lot, I heard a noise as I pulled in, I got out and let it idle. It's like a lah lah lah lah, weird ass noise. From the drivers side fender. I went home, popped the hood and it sounds like its coming from the alternator area. Based on the little info, what would you think? [Confused]

yea its probably your smog pump, why don't you fix your mounts before you fuc something up really bad. not that you car sounds like it has the power too but you can actually spin the motor if it makes enough power when the mounts area broken. If you had a convertable then they have safety straps so even if its broken then there is still a loop so it can't move out of position. but your car doen't have them so you will start potting lots of strain on the exhause because its the only thing holding the motor from twisting.
