Lines? About the same as what the stock rods/pistons can support [Wink] Lidio at Alternative Auto makes about 650 rwhp with the stock rails just fine: http://www.alternativeauto.com/waterbox/32v_lx.html

it states there he has only stock rails. he says the pump and lines are the shortcomings. [Confused]

Sorry, I read my post again and can see how I wasn't clear.... A typical DOHC with a bit over 10 psi of Vortech boost and the normal bolt-ons makes about 470ish rwhp, About the limit of the stock lines, and the intank plus inline pump.

Is HCI doing any head work to your motor?

porting and cams didnt quite fit the budget but i chose to go with thier manifold, which should be quite nice. I will bee running 12 lbs. Will i need to upgrade the lines? will the stock rails do ok? was hoping for 500rwhp. thanks for all your help.

Is it too late to spend the intake money for port work on the heads instead??? While the intake may look more cool, there is probably more HP to be gained by porting the heads on your blown DOHC.

i didnt really want to with smog an issue. the intake manufacturer promised me 50 rwhp????

yes that is with the blower at 12lbs. this isnt a reworked manifold like shm has but a completly new one
