ive been reading this board the past month and this officially is my 1st post. ive been out of the mustang scene for the past 2years and recently have gotten back in after purchasing my 99 cobra.
my other stang, an 89 5.0LX i will soon sell and before that can happen i will have to make it smog legal again as i put in an o/r hpipe years back. i had to pay an arm and a leg to get it illegally smogged 2 years back..sssshhh but unfortunately that same source is unavailable this time around.
so i am wondering if anyone has a stock hpipe laying around that they would like to part w/ or let me borrow for smog.

I do.....its on the car right now though. Where do you live? I'm in chico....only problem, is my h pipe is a little clauged up, i jsut passed smog with it though. So Im sure you can too

i appreciate the help but i think it would be too much trouble for u and myself as we live quite a distance away. im in dalycity and not sure if ud be willing to take ur cat pipe off and have ur car be down, unless u have a replacement, while my car is smogged.
i just wished i kept the stock cats when i swapped it for the o/r. buying a new high flow cat pipe is sure out of the question. i just want to dump my 5.0 ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)

ive got a stock hpipe in my attic, works great i am pretty sure its not clogged or anything. I need to keep it for when i get smogged but you can use it.
Im in Chico also =) Let me know if you cant find one closer.
