don't forget you won't get the most out of your resistor mod unless you've set your TPS to precisely 0.9845341456, you'll probably need a quality fluke to get there. That and a 160 thermostat, and twin electric superchargers with a "tornado" intake. actually get some magnetic fuel savers, they align the long-chain hydrocarbons for something like +5 mpg and 50 horse I think.

Damn how did you know I ordered the "twin electric superchargers with a "tornado" intake" O well the cats out of the bag. We should line up when its done and see just how fast it is

Generally speaking, anything that fools the EEC is a _bad_ idea. The resistor mod is suppose to fool the computer into thinking the air coming into the motor is cooler than it really is, thus preventing the EEC from withdrawing timing for warm air. Two things wrong with this... 1) If you have a timing adjuster on your 4.6, you have nothing to gain from this 2) The EEC will eventually figure out that the ACT sensor is "stuck", lable it defective and start to ignore your resister.
