Do I need MIL eliminators for a catted BBK x pipe on an 02 GT? If i don't run the eliminators for a while will that damage my engine??

If it has cats. You still use your sensors. Only offroad pipes need mil's. And if you are going to buy a pipe, I would buy an offroad. No point in paying bank for a catted pipe witch may not pass smog anyway. Get the extra gain, go offroad, but save the stock pipe for smog.

well i got a catted bbk about two months ago and i was reading that the OBD II program the newer mustangs use sometimes are touchy and need the eliminators. i was gonna go with an offroad pipe but got the catted one hella cheap.

There have been lots of offroad pipes on here that will fit your car for $80 on avg. If you get Mil's get the plug in type. Not ones where you have to splice wires. The plug in's usually work much better.

i don't wanna get that car too damn loud because the cops are going apeshit on stupid little tickets up here so i'm probably gonna stick with the catted pipe and some two chambers, two chambers are down the road though.

I'll have to see how loud autumn's ride is when we meet up.
