are they needed? in the back, mine were really chewed up, so i ditched them. haven't looked at the front yet.

You do not need isolators in the front or the back.

my car creaks in the back like a mo-fo without spring isolators. probably depends on the car/suspension setup.

I had myne out for a while and they never creaked but then I put them back in because I started rubbin with a full tank of gas and a full car of people.

how much more does removing them drop it? an it wont effect handling? if not i want my car a little lower.
