My brothers car GRINDS if you shift fast into third. If you shift normal, doesnt grind. It has a B&M on there and everything is bolted right. I can figure it out. Might be internal problem in the T-5. HELP [Confused]

my T5 does that in 3rd and 5th. Was my syncros.
swapped tranny, problem went away. go figure.

hey blown i have the same exact probelem with my B&M ripper it always grides 2nd to third when speed shifting. i kinda fixed it by adjusting my cluch cause it was to close to the floor so now i am releasing at the top and havnt missed yet

well, both of them are right. A simple clutch adjustment could fix it...but if it's only from 2-3, then it's most likely a 3rd gear syncro. I will hope for your sake it's a clutch adjustment that is all you need, unless you are like me and used to doing trannys..... [Wink]
