Is anyone running a strut tower brace with a cool air intake? I have a BBK intake and just got my MM Strut tower brace. I did a test fit and it looks like the brace will not clear the intake.

Yeah, I have the same situation with my cobra. I installed a Densecharger CAI and bought a Steeda tower brace, and the brace doesn't get clearance over the intake tubing.

The only suggestions I have heard was to either heat up the tower bar and bend it out of wack, which would jack up the structure of the bar. I have also heard that you can heat up a pipe and then melt the intake tubing where the bar goes across with the heated pipe, but that sounded a bit too risky to me as well. So I guess I will wait for the novelty of the Densecharger to wear off and then throw the strut bar on, or else find someone with a '96-'98 Cobra who wants to buy the strut bar.

Sorry, maybe someone else on here has some new suggestions that might be better than what I have heard.
