Ok heres the deal. on saturday i went out to race and came a cross a few cars. To make a long story short, I ran the car hard. Well, after a race one of my rockers came loose and was making clicking nose so, i brought it home and fixed it the yesterday. I turned the car on and it was running fine with no problems. This morning i took the car to work and she drove fine all the way to wok. Now on lunch time i went to my car to turn her on and a big white cloud of smoke came out of the exhaust. What the hell??? What could cause this? I hope i didnt fuck anything up from the motor. Could the valves not be sitting right?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanx.

Did the smoking stop? White usually is coolant/water.

Yes. The smoking stops after i drive her for a bit. It cant be a head gasket because my car isnt overheating. Thanx for the reply.

white=coolant.
you'd be surprised how easy a headgasket can go. especially if you re-used the head gasket, or some-how misinstalled them.
a rocker falling "off" and basically leaving the offending valve shut can cause great damage.
for instance, an exhaust rocker that falls off will cause a giant back-fire type situation as during the exhaust cycle there is nowhere for the burnt fuel to go. It rushes back out the intake.
don't be surprised if that blows the H.G.

Forgot to mention that the oil was black. I changed the oil like 600 miles ago. What could cause it to change that quick?
