Okay, so my car needs brake fluid. My manual says it needs Dot 3 fluid that meets some ford spec number. The fluid that I bought doesn't give any reference numbers, its just standard dot 3 fluid. Is there a difference or should I just take my car in tomorrow morning and have the dealership take care of it? Thanks

Just put some DOT3 in it and be happy.
Dont you dare take that car into the dealer for brake fluid man!
The ford spec number is just a refference and its for boiling point etc.

I will completely back up punks statements. The dealer would love you though.
