since late '98 or so that's one of those numbers in the brain for me. You know, like 225, etc. etc.

Hold the phone. Correct me if i'm wrong but according to this edmunds site the 02 still is rated at 260 HP. Well, in 99-00 the compression was 9.0:1 but in 2001 they incresed compression to 9.4:1 which could be the extra "5hp maybe" but that happened in 2001. I'm sure that carries over to the 02 year, but they didnt increase the rated horsepower
