I just bought some bbk 1 5\8 unequal lenght headers. I want to get a off road h with a functional air tube. I called Laurel Mountain Mustang to order one of there metal tech H pipes because there stainless steel. The tech there said I should by a bbk because none of the other ones match up perfecly. What do you guys think?

Mufflers isnt a big deal to match up but it is a good idean to get the same company pipe and headers. Go with the BBk o/r X or H pipe for $200 its a steal! I like mine a lot.

Sounds like the sales rep was trying to push his own brand of H pipe on you because it has a better profit margin for him than the BBK stuff.

ya i have bbk unequal lenght headers and a bbk h pipe and they matched up good wasnt hard at all. and i love my h pipe only caost me $159 from summit

Brian you dont have equal lenth headers they are shortys.

Re-read the post AGAIN. He didnt say he had equal length, he said UNequal length...and i'm pretty sure anything that isnt a longtube is a shorty header.
