Topic: question about trex fuel pump

should i put a on/off switch on the trex when i intalled it so i save fuel during normal driving, or should i have it on at all times when i am driving... thanks

Its meant to be ran all the time. If you put an on-off switch on it, it will only act as a restriction to your intank pump.

Yeah I would imagine that your computer would control the fuel anyways, so having more pressure in the line would really have very little effect.

![[Confused]](confused.gif) Now that statement made no sense.
Only '99+ cars have the EEC control the fuel pump variably. Pre '99 cars, the EEC just flicks the fuel pump relay on and off with the iginition switch. Post '99 cars, the EEC monitors the fuel pressure at the rail via a pressure sending unit and accordingly drives the pump.
