Be careful when torquing the pinion nut, since that nut also sets the preload on the pinion bearings. If you torque the nut on further than what it was, your basically crushing the crush sleeve even more, which is going to make your bearings too tight. I would try and mark the nut and the pinion, that way you can just tighten the pinion till its about lined up with your marks.
