I want about 450-500 to the wheels. I wull be running a 347 a4 block completly forged. 9.0-1 compresion. Should i
A. port the shit out of my 6037's B. buy somthing bigger.
I will be running an s trim with this combo. remeber all i want is about 450. What would be my best bet staying as cheap as osible. Any help or info is more then welcome.

If you have an s-trim and only want ~450rwhp I see no reason to port your heads.

You will NEVER make 450rw N/A with TFSr's on a 347 without a LOT of $$$ in supporting parts.
I say run the 6037s & the S-trim & 450RW should not be a problem. If anything port the exhaust side a bit.

not that it matters but the shortblock has about 14 grand in receipts.

With a 2.95 pulley on the S-trim, 450-500 at the wheels should be a walk in the park. If you want to use the 3.25 pulley then the cam will have to be healthy and porting the heads would definitely make your goal achievable.

Get some better heads and make some real power. How much are you paying for the shortblock? What does it have parts wise?

my buddie is selling it to me for 3500. Ford a4 block. forgot the rest of the stuff. but i thumbed threw the receipts and there was 14,000 worth. maybe 13,000. That is between machining and everyhting else. Block and parts only has 2000 miles on it. He made 555 hp on 10 lbs with trick flow heads.

how about a set of tfs high ports. get them from tea and before they send them have them port the shit out of them. then when you want more power you wont have to do it later
