Hey guys - been a long time.
The Mustang has been sitting in my back yard neglected for too long. If someone is interested in it, I'm happy to sell it to someone who would enjoy it.
Not looking to part it out. The battery has been dead for a while, so it may need to be run for a few days to get the readiness codes to disappear for you to smog it, but last time I smogged it there were no problems at all to get it to pass. Leant it to a buddy last year, and he drove it for a month or two with no problems to note.
IRS, H&R Race Springs, Evo motorsports X-brace/long sfc's, MGW short throw shifter, Roush shift knob, custom overlay gauges, Bilstein Shocks, Koni Yellow Struts, Cobra brakes, MGW short throw, FR500 wheels, Cobra rear bumper, Cobra suede seats - well worn.
Paint is in poor condition - especially the front end.
Hoping to sell to someone who will enjoy it. If you are someone who would want to bring it back to its former glory or enjoy it just the way it is that would be rad. My dad helped me buy this car three months before he passed in 2010, and it was the first time he ever had the means to lend me money like that. It's been incredibly hard for me to let go, and it would break my heart if someone bought it just to part it out.
I think it has 156,000 miles with a new motor installed around 125,000 due to a spun bearing. I'll put it on the trickle charger tonight to get the odo reading.
I dunno - 1,500? 2,000? I've been out of the game for a long time - not sure what this is worth. Shoot me a PM and we can probably work out a number.
If you're curious about the history of the car I started a thread in 2010 when I bought it from another member here. The Mustang Source - Pete's 2000 GT Thread
