The time has come and my friend is ready to sell his fastback. I told him I'd try to find a buyer here before we offer to the general public.I will be handling any back and forth questions at first and once someone sounds serious I will put you in touch with my friend. But let me make very clear He isn't going to play any games the car is $20,000 no matter what flaws you point out. So here's a little history it's a 65 "A" code 4 speed car from the san jose factory. He has personally owned the car for 25+ years. He did a restore on the car over 20 years ago turning it into a Shelby clone. He originally built the car for his wife who he unfortunately lost 4 years ago, kind of why he's ready to let it go.The car has been sitting now for probably 6-8 years.Paint/clear coat needs redone. The car fires right up and idles nice.Yes believed to be the original engine that was rebuilt and a T-5 trans was put in. This is a very solid car that yes is a project or heck with very little work you could enjoy it as is.Keep in mind that you and I all know how hard these cars are to find in solid, complete and build worthy condition.Could you find another "A" code fastback for a better deal? Sure possibly. This is a great car for someone to build there dream car with. So please before you bother requesting more info read and re-read my posting, and think to yourself do you actually have $20K to spend. I will happily send serious interested parties pictures and we will go from there. Thanks guys

This place is full of low baller. Broke ass mofos. I wouldn't even try here if it's not a clapped out 5.0 There's probably only a handful of people here who could come up with that kind of cash. Without JGW 877 cash now.

There's a Facebook page that specifically deals with older mustang sales I would suggest try posting it on there. I see tons of fastbacks sold all the time for what the seller is asking. Its called classic mustang (focusing on 64.5 to 73)parts page buy, sell and trade.
