I have an unknown brand after market 28 spline posi unit (Could be Eaton or Auburn) with 3:73 gears. I can text pictures upon request

What makes you assume it one of those two???I'm interested in the unit and gears but need to know exactly what's going in the car...

To be quite honest I don’t know if it’s either. Just an assumption but it does not have a “Ford” stamped on it like normally would and after taking some 6k RPM launches I figured it was after market. I can send pictures via text since the site isn’t letting me upload them
