Features: 1990 Miata - bare bones (A package) ~160k miles Salvaged title (I was told from a minor front end collision ~8 yrs ago - no frame damage) Black top interior (light weight)
Modifications: Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 Wheels (15x7) Kumho Ecsta XS 205-50-15 Koni Sport Shocks (rebound adjustable) SSS Springs (500 lb/in front springs, 300 lb/in rear springs) Fat Cat Motorsports coilover kit Fat Cat Motorsports NB upper shock mounts & bump stops Racing Beat Front Sway bar 949 Racing End Links RoadsterSport 3 Stainless Steel Exhaust MagnaFlow CARB Legal High Flow Catalytic Converter Boss Frog "clear view" roll bar Racing Beat Front Frame Brace Racing Beat Rear Frame Brace (not installed but I have it) Front R lip spoiler Slotted rotors Clear turn signal lights
Recent maintenance: Replaced wheel bearings Replaced front ball joints Replaced clutch slave cylinder Replaced rear sway bar bushings Replaced control arm CAM bolts
The car was painted at Maaco and looks very decent (even painted door jams). It is definitely not a show car but is certainly very presentable as a street car and an excellent track/autocross car! The car is very solid with no known issues. Ride is very firm but not abusive to the body.
The car was smogged in July 2013 and passed with no issues. Will smog for serious buyer or we can negotiate that in final price since it has passed the 90 day timeframe of smog certification.
I am asking $4000 or trade for a mustang (preferably with some suspension mods). Car is located in Northern California (Bay Area)

Thanks Ralph! I've been debating on selling it or to start adding a little cash into it. Its definitely a fun car but being that I'm so used to tracking my Faleen, I'm not 100% sure I want to go the Miata route (yet). We'll see...

From what I am aware of it will fit. If I end up keeping this car one of the first things I plan to do is find a hard top for it.

You can go out and have some fun with this miata! Its still a street car so some spirited driving through some backroads and canyons would be awesome! Its a blast to drive but i'm just not sure its really what I want.
Trade?!?!
By the way, what is your price for the Mustang now? How about WITHOUT the Saleens and I bring my own wheels? [ 2013-11-07, 02:01 PM: Message edited by: SydeWaySix ]

It's cheap enough to not feel guilty about buying it! I know you were talking about building a spec miata in the future. This is a very good starting point for you! The suspension is pretty much dialed in for the track, unless you want to go with race valves shocks/struts. According to my buddy who is into miatas, the suspension mods on this car are pretty much all you'll need! All it needs i(in my opinion) is a race seat and harness and it would be a track warrior! But then again, it is currently track day ready as it sits

Put a 347 in it! Just make it a Monster Miata. It won't handle as well, but who cares. You'd have 400+HP in a super light car! I am assuming a Coyote won't fit.
