Just finished this for someone and now they're wanting to go with an aod.
0 miles on rebuild. C5 case with all lube mods including C5 sungear. 5 Alto red clutches per drum with kolene steels and kevlar bands. Wide pump bushing, teflon sealing rings, factory H code servo, deep C5 pan and manual reverse valvebody. $800

C5 cases have the #9 thrust washer force lubed and larger cooler passages. You can modify the c4 case to lube #9 and enlarge the cooler passages but I had a clean c5 case so I used it.

I don't have any suitable converters for this unit, all I have are 8" transbrake converters.

I can also upgrade the servo, oilpan, input shaft and forward drum.

I have a quick question so do u have to use a C5 or a C4 Bellhousing also wats the input spline count

A c5 is pretty much identical to a c4 except the bellhousing and valvebody and anything after 1970 is the bigger 26 spline input. So you need to run a c4 bell and converter.

Ok, got another one. A member had me do this one then decided to not call me back or return my messages.
Exact same specs as the other but has new billet steel forward drum, lightened sun gear shell, new billet servo, new 300M input shaft and new cast aluminum BTE deep pan. $1200
