Show off? No not at all. A lot of posts directed towards racsirx and the Cobra seemed like a follow up was in order. Phildog posted "Pics, or it didn't happen". So I'm just trying to respond to that. Is this a forum for just selling parts or are we all Ford guys sharing info and proud of the effort we put into our vehicles?

Cool, maybe its because I'm from SoCal and not a local. I really like your area, reminds me of home in Illinois a bit. The administrator has not allowed my access to upload pics yet. I sent them via email to Racsirx, its been a long and expensive 10 months putting this car together. Its 99% done, the goal was to build my own rendition of a 93R model in black with a coyote Motor and T56 6 speed, then just do track days and club meets. I always wanted a Foxbody Cobra. I have a 2011 in black, its nice, but Anyone can go Buy a new one. I adopted this car and put it back to the way it should have been, just a few changes! HAHAHA

Cafords.com is DEFINITELY a rough crowd. You just have to weed through the BS and punks to get to the real, respectful, and intelligent members. There's ALWAYS going to be a hater in every thread posted, so be aware, but not afraid

Although the Steeda 5 link helps a bit, its useless to try hooking up with cold tires as all of you are already aware. I hope to keep this car forever and need not wad it up on the street. I am anxious to get some real seat time to ring it out and learn to drive it. I'm out of practice on the track time, but looking forward to seeing how she runs. The previous owner before Racsirx told me that a Vortec blown 331 motor was not a good balance for his NASA racing days, too twitchy on the exit of an apex, so Coyote power to the rescue haha. Thanks for the forum advice.

Sounds like you plan for it to be a beasty street/open track car? If that's true, you should make an attempt to come up and run it at Sonoma Raceway. There's a few events in November that will end the season, then restart around February 2013. Taking it out on a road course is the ultimate test of engineering in my perspective. Send me a PM if you head out this way and we can meet up at a trackday
Also, I don't know much about the steed 5-link setup, but if you plan to stay with a solid rear end, I'd highly suggest maximum motorsports' phb/ta setup. I run it, as well as many others on the board, and I've had no regrets! Way cheaper than the Griggs setup. [ October 21, 2012, 02:19 PM: Message edited by: SydeWaySix ]

Sonoma and Laguna Seca is where I always wanted to race my bike. I gave motorcyle road racing a try for a few years in the late 90's, I cut my teeth at Willow Springs in an SVO a looooong time ago. I will definitely keep in touch with you guys when I get up north.
