Author Topic: 1989 Mustang Convertible, 5.0 - Best offer MustangNate ¯ Member # 4559 posted                              1989 Mustang Convertible 5.0, AOD Dead stock minus air silencer. Previous owner popped the headgasket, didn't have the money to fix. I had the heads checked out, surfaced, and replaced both gaskets. New plugs, coil, Interstate battery (under warranty), cap n' rotor, oil & filter, trans fluid & filter, fuel filter, wipers, brake system flush, coolant system flush. Car does have back fees, but previous owner is suppose to pay them (will cost approximately $500 to register). I am now a full time student and just don't have the time to fiddle with it anymore. Needs a catback, will include an MSD 6AL box. Best offer, need $ for school.
