True, but then you have to shorten the driveshaft, more the crossmember back, etc. Ifs its in good shape, just swap the input shaft and call it good. Its really easy to do and I actually have a couple input shafts sitting on the shelf for this.
If anyone is interested, Ill swap them out for $100. That includes the input shaft and setting up the preload correctly.
