i talked to the old owner wish this car could be streetable but since it's an out of state car that wont happen ever unless you put it all back to stock! also needs a new cage if youre going passed 10.0 i know cause i would have already bought the car but since it's not i cant buy it! great car though well setup and ready to go just needs a new power plant and your ready for the 10's

It doesn't have to be put back stock to get California registration, if it doesn't have one already, DMV just needs to verify the vins when coming from out of state

This car has ran in the 9's So it is definitely capable of being fast. If you got the motor, this car has the suspension. It has An 8pt cage. To run in the 9's you need a 10pt. But 10's is faster than MOST people can and need to go, So in that case this car would be perfect!
This car has, Nice Paint, Nice Interior, Great Suspension. Great Deal!
Tut this car could work for what you want. Just put a cert'd cage in it, your motor and trans and your in business. Get the title in cali and do your smog and drive away [ February 19, 2012, 01:33 AM: Message edited by: ItzStock ]

if foxbody registers and smogs it! and gets it registered in cali, I'm pretty sure i would buy it but I def am going to need a new cage since I went 10.16 with a stock long block small turbo in a 3800 pound car buty in a 2800 pound car i would easily be in the 9's! then i would def need a new cage cause i def want to trap in the 150+

Tut, you can take care of the smog yourself. Why dont you ask if there is any way he can get a ca title.

registering is no different then if it was a california title, the only difference is they will require a vin verification, which can be done onsite at the dmv,at the highway patrol office,or any peace officer can do it for you if you have the form
you can register it at the dmv as not being used on the street,to still be able to obtain a title
