I am selling my 1990 Ford Mustang 5.0 lx hatchback 5 speed. I bought this car with the intenions of turning into a track car and have come to conclusion that this car is just to nice to hack up and thrash on at weekend track days. I will describe the car to the best of my ability: Body/exterior: The car to my knowledge still wears tis original white paint. Is has a nice shine to it, the car looks great form 10 feet away but does have imperfections such as small dings and scratches and blemishes that you should expect from a car this age. I put a set 16" ponys that i painted black on the car. Tires still have plenty of tread. Interior: I have owned quite a few fox bodies in my day and this by far has the nicest interior of all. It has the red and black 2-tone dash that is in great shape. The seat have wear marks around bolsters but no rips. The headliner is perfect with no drooping whatsoever. Carpet could use a good cleaning. Car still has its orignal am/fm cassette deck and speakers which work and sound ok for the 1990 specs. The only modifcation is a hurst style short shifter. Mechanical: This car runs and drives great. This car is 99% bone stock with exception of the shifter. The odometer currently reads 41,061 and im sure its 141k, but car runs great and doesnt feel like it. When i bought this car i drove it 250 miles back to my home with no problems at all. I am the 3rd owner if this car and i was told an older lady was the original owner who took very good care of her cars. The underside of this car is very clean which makes believe that this car has been well maintained over the years. The heater works great and the A/C needs a recharge. The car has passed CA smog and is Currently tagged and registered. Conclusion: This car would make a great daily driver just as it sits, relaible looks good and is a blast to drive. But with a new paint job and a few mods, this stang could be a really nice show car /weekend toy. $3600 If you have any questions feel free to give me a call at (559) 259-8069
