Author Topic: fs; NEW 408W SHORTBLOCK- price drop!!!!!! 2SIK GT ¯ Member # 3381 posted                              I NEED THE MONEY... OR I WOULDNT BE SELLING THIS CHEAP!!!! THIS IS WHAT IT IS 4340 all forged steel with 6.2 chevy rods and rod journals ...4.0 stroke steel crank.. It's so new never been balanced .. Probe dish pistons the deck has been lowered and comp will be 9:1 - 10:1 depending on heads... The shortblock is wrapped in plastic and it's super new and I'll throw in solid roller lifters that are brand new and high volume oil pump also has arp main bolts all bearings are for high rpm and the motor setup is for high rpm like 7500... This block will handle 1000 with the internals.. ILL TAKE 1500 ...
