Otherwise the total cost including the rebuild will be more than just buying an already freshly rebuilt trans. Even the Promotion 295 SHD T5 (rated 425-450whp) is only $999 with core and regular rebuilt T-5's are on ebay for less than $700.<br /><br />I hear broken T5's can easily be found for $50-80. Sounds more like they would take your core and give you credit towards a rebuilt T5.
