I passed smog with flying colors on my '93. Passed with much lower numbers than with the stock h-pipe even. It's nice not having to swap out all the time or worry about a cop looking underneath your car and busting you for being catless.
Hangers have been removed but I never had any noise or vibrations, still fits nice and snug.
Not quite as loud as an off-road h-pipe, but still sounds mean with a nice deep tone. I also didn't notice any difference in power between this and the O/R.
