Hopefully I am not committing a sin by posting a Japanese car for trade here. But, I figure a fast car is a fast car, right?
It is very rare to see a turbocharged Integra that is completely CA smog legal, as it is REALLY hard to pull off. In fact, I don't personally know anyone else with a smog legal turbo honda around here. You don't have to swap out any parts or do anything to get it to pass smog, it passes just fine as is.
Well over $15k has been invested in this car for parts, labor, tuning. It has a fresh paintjob (R34 Skyline Bayside Blue) and a LONG list of mods. It was recently tuned at Evil Genius Racing in West Sac. Just barely finished the car so it hasn't had time to be abused. It's only running 5psi at the moment, probably would pull 230-250hp on a dynojet, which is plenty fast for me considering how light this car is, but if you wanted to you could safely crank it up to 8-10psi and probably make ~300hp+. If you strengthened the bottom end 400hp+ would be easily attainable.
The cool thing about this car is you can get 30mpg with normal driving. For more information check out my ebay ad: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110562977914
Looking to trade for a very clean '87-'93 5.0 fox or a '99-'04 4.6. Preferably with a good amount of mods already since I am giving up a really fast car myself. Please PM offers or give me a call/text at 916TwoSixSevenFourTwoTwoThree.
Thanks.

Thats a pretty clean Integra. The color is nice, I would've left the stock body parts, but overall still a nice car. Sounds like it makes good power too. What shop did the dyno tuning?
Good luck with the sale or trade, but you most likely won't have much luck on this site unfortunately... Lots of close minded people on here, I personally respect anything thats fast though...

Yeah, previous owner put on the bodykit. Wasn't crazy about it at first but it grew on me. I had the rear spoiler removed when I had it painted and I think that cleaned it up and balanced it out. Also, the intercooler is out of an Evo and is so big that not many bumpers would fit it.
This is what it looked like when I got it:
This is a few more shots after it was painted:
I spent a long time picking out the perfect color. Finally I settled on R34 Skyline Bayside Blue (TV2) and I feel it was a great decision. It's a gorgeous color and it really comes to life in the sunlight.
The dyno tuning was done in West Sac at Evil Genius Racing http://www.evilgeniusracing.com/
You can see a video clip of the tuning here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tO1ix90asog [ July 24, 2010, 12:27 AM: Message edited by: Balzahk ]

I agree, definitely a gorgeous color. What happened to the door molding, I see it was on the car before paint?

Sharp eye, of everyone who has called me or come to look at it you are the first person to ask about the moldings without me pointing it out. They were removed when painted and the guy who painted my car said that once you take them off they never go on quite right again and so he ordered me some new ones. They're already painted and ready to be slapped on, in fact, I was supposed to have them put on today but was too busy. I'll probably get it done tomorrow, though, he's usually at the shop on the weekends. [ July 24, 2010, 12:49 AM: Message edited by: Balzahk ]

Well, the car looks clean, & I hope you get what you are looking for.
On a side note, I would love to give it a friendly run in my H/C/I 91, haven't ever really got to race any fast imports yet...

I actually JUST finished up the car. Never raced it. Worried about tarnishing my perfect DMV record and when you dump your entire life savings into a car you tend to baby it. But, I've been interested in how well this thing would hang with a stout Mustang. Maybe we can set something up, shoot me a PM.

The issue with fast FWD imports at the track, is getting them to hook. I rarely see them hook at the track.

Thanks for the complements, guys. Means a lot coming from a Ford web site. I know before I owned an import I talked a lot of trash about them. Since owning this car, I see that they are actually capable of being extremely fun/fast cars with the right modifications. The problem is 99% of guys around here with japanese cars are far more worried about the way their car looks, and never get past a cold air intake and fart pipe, so there aren't many fast Hondas out there.
I will probably regret getting rid of this car. I dumped crazy money into it, and it will probably be the fastest car I will ever own that still makes 30mpg. When gas shoots up to $5 again I will probably punch myself in the face for getting rid of it.

I like imports. Integras are tight! I had a 96 4 door GSR a few years ago. That thing was pretty quick stock for a little 4 banger. Was my favorite daily driver so far. I was lookin for another one, but most of em u see nowadays are pretty beat up & theft recovery salvage titles. So I ended up in another Civic for my daily... U got a nice Integra there. I like the stock body better, but I guess u gotta do what u gotta do when installing that EVO intercooler in there! Color is sick, & yes, u need to put the door moldings on... Any engine & interior shots? GLW the trade

You're exactly right. When you find a clean Integra, they go for quite a bit of money. There is a dealership next to my house that has two of them with >100k miles and they're asking $8k a piece, neither are even GSRs. On CL a clean GSR still will go for over $6k, which is WAY above blue book. Whenever I've gone to look at one that was less than $6k, they were always beat to shit, bondo'd, etc.

It actually takes bumps pretty well. I just go slow, not sideways or anything.
I don't consider going from a Mustang to a Turbocharged Integra a "downgrade". Honestly this car will smoke most of the V8 Mustangs in town no problem. Mustangs are rated over 200hp from the factory, but that's bhp, not whp, big difference, and they are heavier. Next week I will probably crank the boost and have it re-tuned as well, as it is right now it is at the lowest PSI setting possible running a conservative tune. Oh, and did I mention that this thing takes turns like it's on rails?
Plus I can get 30mpg, plus insurance is only $40/month for me. On top of the the paintjob on this car alone cost me more than a lot of guys on this forum paid for their entire car.
I love any car that's fast and/or handles well. If you don't like imports, that's fine, but you don't have to go around crapping in other people's threads.
