AFR 185's ****PIC ADDED**** strokingmyfords ¯ Member # 8952 posted                              I have a set of pedestal mount afr 185's afr-1492.the heads have about 1000 miles on them and 500 miles since i rebuilt them i put the new afr valves in them had a new valve job and had 30 thou milled off the heads.they are put together with titanium valve retainers and valve springs up to 600 lift cam.These heads are not your stock 185s they have a lot of money in to them selling bec i bought new heads $1100.obo Also have a comp cam xe282hr 565"/574" lift 232/240 duration 2600-6500 rpm the cam has about 500 miles on it this is a good street cam sounds good at idle makes good power. $150.obo p.s heads and cam are still on the car and need to sell or my wife is going to make me sell my new heads. You are missed on this forum Posts: 15950 | Registered: Apr 2002  |  : strokingmyfords ¯ Member # 8952 posted                              I had bought these heads when my motor was stock, shortly after I put the heads on I blew the motor up, when I started building the new motor I had the heads milled and a friend of mine told be to get ride of the rev valves and get the new afr valves and have a valve job done, I put the new valve springs, and titanium retainers the reason for new heads is for one I want to get ride of the pedestal mount, I got a really good deal on some afr 205's planning on doing a custom grind sold roller cam. What it all boils down to is I want MORE POWER!!!!!
