looking for a pretty cool lil commuter. Trying to spend around 1k for it. I know at the price I should not be picky, but not trying to buy a dented up rust bucket. Something automatic too preferably.
Also looking for some 18in wheels for the cobra. Hoping to spend around 400.00. Preferably something in black.
I know those are some lowball supreme budget numbers, so dont bag on me about it. But I thought I'd start here before I scour CL.

Look for 5 speed neons. they run forever. Just change the timing belt.

I don't think you will find many "reliable" commuter cars for around 1000.00 dollars.Good luck though! if you add about 4500 to that 1000 you can have my acura!

i got a 1992 geo storm 5 spd 245k miles but still runs good. $600
