Author Topic: MTX T9500 12", TE1501D amp, and Sledge Hammer single 12" enclosure SHOalex ¯ Member # 7720 posted                              I have an MTX 9500 series with sledge hammer box and TE1501D(1ohm stable) amp this bass is shattering and I am selling it at an unbeatable price just the amp still sells for over $800 new call around and youll see the stuff is uninstalled right now but if your serious i can install so you can hear it links to. Posts: 1448 | From: Oakland | Registered: Jun 2007  |  : baySHO510 ¯ Member # 8046 posted                                 By the way this is a dual 4-ohm sub that is wired "parallel" inside the box, so the amp sees a 2-ohm load if you run it on a monoblock amp. The spec sheet on this TE-1501D amp put down 1293 watts of continuous (rms) power @ 2-ohms and something like 1700+ watts rms @ 1-ohm. The amp was always run @ 2-ohms with this single sub so it was never really maxed out or pushed too hard... impossible to overheat. Oh yeah and if you listen to spanish music at all... BANDA, CORRIDOS... you absolutely HAVE to listen to this thing hooked up to an EPICENTER... CRAZY DEEEEP BASS!
