Author Topic: 1998 Volvo S70 Non-Turbo for trade FlyingLow ¯ Member # 1485 posted                              Just wanted to know if anyone on here would be interested in trading a 1998 Volvo S70 for a clean 91-93 5.0? I can send you pictures and information on the car if you are interested. It is a 1998 Dark Green Volvo S70 4 door sedan. It has had 3 owners so far. Non- turbo model. The car is in good condition and runs very strong. All details for the vehicle are listed below. The only thing that I have to disclose about the car is the mileage on it. We had some work done on the engine and the shop that worked on it did not connect the speedometer correctly. We drove the car around like this for about a year. The mileage was being recorded the whole time that the car was being driven around. About a month ago we took the car into Smythe Volvo because the check engine light had turned on and while having the light checked they connected the speedometer properly. When they did this the mileage went back to what it was before the car had the engine work done. The car now shows the mileage at 127K but in reality it should be 139k. I have a letter from Smythe Volvo stating this. I also have a carfax for the car. I've had bad luck with convertibles in the past. I'm asking 3250 or best offer for the car. Paid over 4k for the engine work that was done on the car. Bought another car and I don't need the car anymore.
