Up for sale is my 88 coupe drag car roller. I blew the motor this past weekend at Famoso (fuel solenoid quit w/too much spray, going for 9.0s) Anyway, I'm ready to move on. The car was set up with a BBF and C6 on spray. The car on motor only ran 10.30s-10.40s. The suspension is tuned and it hooks hard. Look at the pics, it pulls the wheels with a 320lb heavier BB and a 80lb heavier tranny. This roller is litteraly a plug and play for a carbed set up, just drop your motor/tranny and go. All fuel and ignition/wiring, guages, cooling, etc are in place right down to just hooking up sending units to gauges. All I'm doing is pulling motor, tranny, drive shaft. This car is 100% NHRA legal to 10.00 with the 8pt, 5 point harness good to Aug 2010, batt box, batt cut off, Axles, wheel studs, driveshaft safety loop, fuel cell, fuel routing, etc. I have all reciepts for the parts listed below. Here it goes:
1988 Mustang coupe (4 cyl) Paint 3yrs old always garaged, no rust. New Windshield Roll Bar- Competition Engineering RJS 5 point harness MSD 6 AL MSD timing control/3 stage retard MSD Blaster coil Water pump relay kit for CSR Griffen Aluminum 2 core radiator CSR-1 Qt catch can CSR-3" bottle bracket DER-Dual electric fan 16" Holley "RED" fuel pump X 2 All fuel is SS Braided hose Holly fuel pump 19lb springs X 2 Summit Billet fuel filter X 2 8 gal Fuel cell Fuel cell mounts Aerospace drag race front brake kit on SN95 spindles Earls SS Brake lines Battle Boxes-bolted and welded CE weld in sway bar kit UPR pro series upper and lower control arms (spherical) Moser 33 spline axles/with c-clip eliminators Moser 33 spline spool Custom built 8.8, welded tubes, triangulated Stange 4.10 gears Steeda spherical housing bushings TA Performance housing girdle Wheel stud kit / Front QA1 tubular k member w/2 mounting locations QA1 tubular A-arms Coil over kit Lakewood 90/10 struts Lakewood 50/50 shocks Moroso drag shocks Airlift airbags (right rear) New Spring isolators / rear Flaming River Steering shaft Auto Meter Outside mount fuel pressure Auto Meter Oil pressure Auto Meter Tranny temp Auto Meter Water temp Auto Meter Monster Tach 6" Harwood hood Weld Draglite 15x3.5 and 15x8 MT ET Drags 28X10.5 w/20 passes.
I know I'm missing stuff, all parts have 20-25 passes on them. This stuff is practically new. You can't build a car like this cheaper. Please no trades, or parting out, I just want to sell. Clear title in hand, $6000 . 805-757-3768. Thanks. [ March 14, 2009, 07:33 PM: Message edited by: SVT GI ]

WOW!! So your saying I should GIVE away $9K in parts alone, not to mention the price of the car, paint, and a car that's built right for how much?? How about providing me with a suggested price that YOU think would help us all out.
If anybody else is interested, I am open to serious offers.

Thanks Letsrunem. Open to offers. I have $13K in the car as it sits w/no engine or tranny. I have a flat bed and will haul if in a reasonable distance. Lets make a deal! TTT

It's worth it...but...the economy isn't helping this situation. If you want to get any of that $$$ back right away, part it out. Best of luck to ya.

What did you have in mind? I have it on Ebay for 8500. There is no kidding 13K in this roller (all receipts on hand). Sinse CA Fords helped me sell my Vert I thought knocking 2500 off for you guys here was good. Something close and we'll make it happen.

Make an offer guys. If somebody wants it cheaper without the fuel and electronics, I can work that too. I will not part out the car before hand. The roller must go first. LMK
