My older brother had a Contemporary with a 427 FE when I was in college, and I've wanted one ever since. I was looking at buying one before I bought my 03, but unfortunately I don't fit these cars (I'm about 6'4")... How much more leg room does the firewall modification provide? Is this an off the shelf option from Factory Five? I know other brands offer extended versions, but I believe they have longer wheel bases. The footbox modification is simply a larger footbox itself. A company that makes after market Aluminum pieces for FFR Cobras makes the larger footbox sets ups.
