I HAVE ALL 8 30LB INJECTORS STILL IN MY CAR I WAS WONDERING IF ANY1 WOULD LIKE TO TRADE FOR SOME 24'S PLUS SOME CASH P.M. IF INTERESTED.

You think 30's are needed on an NA 302, GT40 aluminum heads and Cobra intake? I had 30's in a 347 with AFR heads and they were more than enough, I think 24's would be about perfect for him. He mentioned going with a blower later on but then he'd have to step up to 42's then anyway.

I had 50lbs on my 347 that wasn't supercharged it had nitrous. Doesn't hurt to have more fuel if its tunned right.

exactly if he is going to spend the $$$$ on a tune then keep the 30's but if he wants to just tune it by himself then he needs the 24s! the car will run way to fat with the 30's and no tune..it will load up with fuel at low rpms!

Low rpm drivability would be poor with too big of an injector, even with a tune.
Fuel injectors are very poor at accurately providing the correct amount of fuel with short injector pulses (<10% duty cycle). You might be able to lower fuel pressure but it would need to be reduced by 40% to get a 30 lb injector to flow like a 24 lb.
It is always better to run the smallest size injector needed to support the maximum horsepower.

so what im getting diff answers here what should i do? i got my chip tuned already with the 30's if i slap the 24's i have to retune again huh? damn i think ima just stick with the 30's

Thirt'y are too big for what you have. Alot of people are under the asumptions that they need 30's with hci. 24's are good to 400 rwhp. We got a 347 on a 300 shot running #30's and it's all good. For what you have unless you plan on running a big shot 150+ 24lbs are fine. I might have a set i'll check the garage tommorrow and let you know.

im so over it now, im jus stickn with the 30's my chip is already programmed with the 30's and i am not about to retune my shit for some 24's forget this post and thanks for all the people that helped me out with this issue.

you dont think your gunna have to retune since it was tunned with a 55mm t.b. and 19# m.a.f.m. go figure. ive been reading your posts for sum time now basically you dont know anything about what you need to know sooooooooo your best bet is to 1. listen up to what people are telling you and 2. get some magazines or reading material cuz your only making things worse for your self and you dont need god damn 30# injecters on what you got how many people are gunna tell you that bfor you get it  take the advice or dont post for help damn
