All you need is some wire and a battery box, you can get that at Kragen or Pep Boys.

JC Whitney has 2-gauge 6' leads for $18 and you can get a battery box from Wal-Mart for $8. A battery tie-down is another $4 I believe.

I am doing the same project on my 90 convert. The battery box can be obtained in many places, but make sure the wiring is done right. Go to M.A.D. Electrical and order his battery relocation kit. If you have a '92 or newer, you will also need a relay, or if you plan on using the newer Ford starters with the permanent magnets. This kit will include most what you need. Make sure you call him as this man is an incredible wealth of electrical knowledge. Now he will not include the main wire from the starter relay to the starter, you will need to purchase this separately. For that, make sure you source a good quality welding supply shop and order either 1 or 0 gauge wire for this run. About 25' is more than enough. The one thing I cannot stress enough is to buy the relocation kit from this guy. His reasoning for this design is very smart. It is not all that pricey and it will save your car in the future from becoming a car-be-que.
