For real...It makes me mad that last summer when I was looking for a fox there was nothing but junk out there for my $6k budget. Now this year after all this gas price BS you got nice fox's going for $2500- $6500, when Im broke.... & now even if I want to sell my 95 & pick up a fox I cant get shit for it since the value dropped so dramatically...Sorry for the rant, its just frustrating....

Dustin, you hit the nail on the head.
Mustang enthusiasts are the minority when it comes to the spectrum of Mustang owners out there. When I say "enthusiasts" I mean guys like us who will own their Mustang at $2/gallon or $10/gallon. Most Mustang owners are non-enthusiasts who are using their cars as daily driver commute cars. When it stops becoming practical to own one, they WILL unload those cars. Demand drops, market supply goes up, and price plummits.
Sports cars and SUV prices go first during gas crisis. [ June 25, 2008, 12:41 AM: Message edited by: Luke87GT ]

I dont care if the price of gas goes up to $15 a gal, my stangs will be right there in the garage. I just wont be able to drive them much.....I wish I had the cash to buy right now...Its the time....

Its not like in 6 or 12 months gas prices will tank and Mustangs will be in demand again. No rush at all...
The golden era of fuel inefficient V8 sports cars being mainstream is becoming the Dinosaur age...
You just wait until gas hits $10/gallon and CL will be chaulk full of these cars that people can't give away.
I just realized we are royally high jacking this guys thread. sorry, lol.
You see what you started EPIK, lol Lets take this convo elsewhere
