if he's really your friend, tell him not to buy it because they're junk.
just junkyard a 2spd taurus or mark8 fan for $20 and install it with a 60amp relay, way better cooling and the relay wont die every 3 months.

i'll check that out. how easy are they going to be to mount? cause the radiator its going to go on is small.

am i the only guy that has never had a problem with his black magic fan? i have had mine for 5 1/2 years and never had any kind of problem.

Agreed. The Black Magic is the biggest piece of crap. I bought one for $60 thinking it would be decent since my 5.0 was stock at the time. I had it on there for 3 months, then the weather started getting hot. I started overheating big time stuck in traffic. I went back to the clutch fan and never had the problem again.

Ive had the black magic,proform fan with no problems but went over to the Mark8. What a beast!

his main concerns are flow,amperage draw and install(this is going in a early 60's mustang) i think the mark 8 fans are built into the shrouds? and if so they will be way too wide!
