Your search seems pretty broad, cause you find a lot of carbed 750's and 900-1000's in that price range. But if you want something fuel injected you'll probably have to settle for a 600. I never really look at my mirrors. Now if your on some slow hog, and your just kickin back in your seat then i guess you'd use your mirrors a little more.
