This setup cost right at $3800 new recently when I bought it all with my 89 notchback project. Paid $2500 for transmission, $100 SFI Flexplate, $1200 Torque Converter. I *WILL* not split them or sell them seperately unless I have a buyer for both.

Only has 1800 miles on it over last couple months. It has been used behind a 300 rwhp heads/cam stock shortblock 302" in my notchback. This transmission has never seen any really power and is in PERFECT / like new condition.

This is a Mikes Ultimate C4 /w transbrake with additional upgrades over the standard Ultimate C4. There are $750 worth of upgrades over including: Billet Input shaft, Transbrake /w billet servos. This transmisison is rated at 800-1000hp and is *THE* strongest C4 transmission you can purchase. Has deep alum pan, mikes transbrake. Complete and ready to bolt in. This is a highly modified Ford C-4 transmission capable of dealing with high horsepower competition use. This transmission is custom built to your application.
The Ultimate C-4 features: Competition transbrake valvebody with billet servos, kevlar lined rigid intermediate band.

*ALSO* includes custom $1206 Art Carr Torque Converter that was built to stall 4000rpm on the transbrake. Off the transbrake it would be considered like a 3600 stall. The converter has the best parts you can get in it and was built with a nitrous useage in mind and has full anti balooning plated and rated for 1000+ hp. Can be restalled for any application by Art Carr for minimal cost (Like $100 I think)

C4 CONVERTER "H/D SUPER TORQUE" W/FORGED 1 PC COVER & OPAL STATOR (9.5" DIA CUSTOM STALLED). Rated to 1000+ HP). These converters feature fully forged front covers (unless otherwise noted), anti-balloon plates, fully furnace brazed, and Torrington roller bearings. All of the converters are custom stalled from a range of 2400-5500 RPM.

This includes complete transmission/bellhousing, matching SFI flexplate.


The transmission is still in the car and works perfectly. Anyone local is welcome to come drive the car and test the transmission setup. It will be removed/shipped immediately upon buyers purchase. Since it is in the car still, there are no pictures of this setup available.
