1988 REAL CHP Mustang. I bought this car to restore but I have decided to go another direction.
The car needs a few things:
Both the radiator and steering rack has a slight leak. The heater core is by-passed. The front and rear seats have been replace with 1990+ mustang GT seats. The steering column bearings need to be replaced. The paint is very faded. The front end, front fenders and hood have been replaced. The core support and fender aprons are good.
Bolt on stuff that was on the car when I bought it: PRO 5.0 shifter Underdrive pullies Flowmasters 3 core radiator lowering springs Koni shocks Pony wheels with good tires
After sitting for about 2 years, this thing passed the California smog test and was VERY clean!
Still has the original CHP siren mount, original CHP holes in dash, original CHP metal plate in the trunk to cover the wires (to the right of the spare), original CHP holes in the trunk lid for the dog snare. Spotlight holes, antenna holes ect.
This car runs good and is rust free.

Guessing the body has just over 200k? The CHP would get rid of them at 100k and the speedo has been rolled over. It passed smog about 2 weeks ago and was very clean so who knows?

A clean tittled ex chp coupe for 3,400 what more could you ask for???
The car is straight and the interior is in about the condition you would expect an ex chp to be in.
