Does the car run now? I hope you did a lot of work to it to be asking over twice as much as you paid for it a couple months ago!

It does NOT
You should add that the car needs a timing chain at the very very least.had it ran I most likely would have picked it up [ August 13, 2007, 08:16 PM: Message edited by: HaulinAss Motorsports ]

When I bought it not running I paid 1,200.00 and trailered it from healdsburg to east palo alto, 100+ miles one way which cost me 500.00 We're @ 1,700 now. I bought a starter because the previous owner said that was the only thing that it needed! I was lied to. Along with the starter I bought a Distributor and had someone install it. After that it still didn't resolve the problem. After a couple mechanics diagnosed it for me I found out it was the Timing Chain. Now we're at 2,100.00 Someone broke my driver side window and I REPLACED that at 200.00 so now were at 2,300.00 The reason I put 2,500 was because the price is negotiable. I AM NOT TRYING TO GET RICH FROM THIS MUSTANG JUST TRYING TO MAKE MY MONEY BACK. THIS CAR IS WORTH ALOT MORE THAN WHAT I AM ASKING FOR IN IT"S CURRENT CONDITION. FIND ANOTHER 79 PACE CAR AS GOOD AS THIS WITH 89 REAR 3.73 GEARS, TOKICO SHOCKS, COBRA R WHEELS WITH BRAND NEW TIRES, 5LUG CONVERSION!! AND ALL THE SHIT I DID TO IT MYSELF. ALL YOU NEED IS A TIMING CHAIN INSTALLED! I DON'T WANT TO DEAL WITH THE TIMING CHAIN (NOTE: WTB 85 ENGINE) I CAN't FIND ONE!! IF I COULD I WOULDN'T EVEN SELL IT FOR ANOTHER 20 YEARS AND GET 4 TIMES AS MUCH!

fyi all. i sold it with the buyer knowing it didnt run. he said he was going to put a new motor in it, he didnt. i also sold it for 1,000 not 1,200. i myself bought the car for 700. put 700 into rims, rear end and 5 lug. then 600 into tires and allignment. i dont think you got ripped off boss. the people you are tryin to triple the sellin price on are. moving a car from one place to another doesn't give it more value sorry. i also payed for the tokico's on it and left you an e-cam in the back seat. i drove the car to my parents house, then it didnt start, thats exactly what i told you. you cant say i lied to you. i told you what i thought. in fact we tried putting a starter in it and it still didnt work. remember? oh well not my problem any more, either way u got a steal on all that crap for 1,000 not 1,200

good for you. i hope your happy with the purchase you made. you made a few grand on it. and to think you were asking me to take less than 1,000. that sounds like something youd see on craigslist. but hey congrats on your fortune and your welcome for the steal.
